Double sided piece. Side 1 Sea weeds collected from the beaches around Berwick upon Tweed and printed on paper stuck onto painted ply wood. A study of a Raven living by the sea. Lives in the Cliffs overlooking the washed up sea weeds. One day I found an old smarties lid it was orange. This reminded me of my Smartie lid collection as a child. Collecting the colourful lids which had letters on the back. Side 2 is a giant piece of Oar weed which I picked up from Berwick beach and used to make a print with, the piece was then varnished. When standing it has the effect of moving back and forward with the wind when prised between rock and drift wood.
