Pressed Forest kelp foraged from Berwick Beach in the rock pools at an ebbing low tide. piece is mounted on a wooden sheet covered in calico. The background was printed and painted using oar weed as a swinging paintbrush suspended on a washing line and pressing painted seaweed onto the calico. Prints from found plastic objects on the sea side and from the home including lobster pot hooks collected from the shore line were also used to create patterns.
